We recently compared six of the more favorite golf carry/stand bags that cost less than 0.00. These included the Callaway Warbird Xtt, Cobra Sport, Nike Xtreme Sport, Sun Mountain Mini, TaylorMade Tourino and the Wilson Staff Feather 3.
All of these bags were of high quality, and we based our criteria on price, size of the top, amount of dividers, the strap, features, weight and the amount of colors available.
Callaway Cart Bags
Based on these criteria, the Cobra Sport bag ranked #1 in our testing. It has the largest top of the bunch (10 inches), and has the most pockets (eight). And at 4.5 lbs., it makes for a easy carry. We idea this was the perfect blend of light weight without sacrificing any of the features... And it is a good finding bag!
The New Wilson Staff Feather Bag placed second because at only .95, it is a hell of a deal. It features a 9.5 inch x 7.5 inch top, and at 3.0 lbs., it is super-light.
Surprisingly, the Sun Mountain Mini complete last. Although this bag comes in some unmistakably great finding colors, it doesn't look like a "real" carry bag. But, if you want the lightest bag on the market, at 2.7 lbs, this would be a great choice.

The Cobra Sport Stand Bag features a 5-way top, and dual padded shoulder straps. It features 8 pockets, including a lined valuables pocket plus an insulated beverage pocket and external mesh pocket. The 5-way padded top is comfortable as it features dual padded shoulder straps. It weighs in at 4.5 lbs, which makes fairly light. A rain hood is also included.
#2 - Wilson Staff Feather 3
New for 2008, the Wilson Staff Feather 3 Carry bag is one of the lightest full-size carry bag on the store at 3.0 lbs. It features Nanalon fabric which is both durable and water resistant. The top is 9.5" x 7.5" with a 6-way divider that is mesh-wrapped for graphite shaft protection. The Featther 3 has 5 pockets including a waterproof, No-H2O pocket. A removable hood is also included.
#3 - Callaway Warbird Xtt Stand Bag
Features the new Callaway Golf Xtra Traction Technology (Xtt) allowing for more stability during activation. 9-inch oval top with a 7-way, full-length divider system. 6 pockets, including a valuables pocket and insulated cooler pocket. A rain hood is also included.
#4 - Nike Xtreme Sport Ii Stand Bag
The Xtreme Sport Ii bag features an 8-way, full-length divider law and weighs 5.0 lbs.. This bag has 6 pockets including a water bottle pocket and a fur-lined valuables pocket. A rain hood is also included.
#5 - TaylorMade Tourino Stand Bag
The Tourino stand bag featurs a 7-way, full distance divider top, and is constructed with polyester and 420 propex accents. This bag has 3 pockets and an integrated velour valuables pocket. Also included is a water bottle holder, Tpr rubber logoed zipper pulls and a rainhood. This bag (unlike the others in this comparison) is available in a particular or duplicate strap. Weight: 5.8 lbs
#6 - Sun Mountain Mini Stand Bag
This bag is the lightest of the bags in our comparison and weighs in at 2.65 lbs. The carry strap attaches to the top, which moves the town of gravity of the bag, resulting in a good balanced bag. This bag was one of the easier to carry of the bunch we tested. The Mini comes with a 7", 4-way top. Included are 5 pockets including, a beverage pouch, velour-lined valuables pocket, full-length clothing pocket, ball pocket and an accessory pocket. A matching rainhood also comes with the bag as well as an integrated pen holder and towel holder.
